"I wanted to capture the rich tapestry of color that the Creek takes on in the fall. This is a small pool in the kayak run above Eben Fine Park. It is shaded by a narrow leaf cottonwood that glows as it catches the morning light in the fall. The tree paints the shadowed water with its reflections. At the same time, sunlight comes skidding in over the surface of the water, reflecting glare off parts and turning bubbles to diamonds."
