In the town of Carrion de los Condes is the Convento de Santa Clara, which runs a spartan dormitory for pilgrims. On one of the walls in the courtyard is this lovely marble head of a lamb, set into the bricks of the wall. It was raining again, so I took advantage of the portico's shelter and painted its portrait. |
